Cyber Security Project Leader: Build a More Secure Future
Join our team as we transform our cyber security landscape! We're implementing a multi-year, multi-focused program, with a dedicated budget, to elevate our cyber security capabilities and ensure a robust defence against evolving threats. This 3-year program is dynamic and agile, with priorities adjusted to meet changing business needs and the evolving threat landscape. As a Cyber Security Project Manager, you'll be responsible for managing and delivering critical projects within this program, working directly with our Cyber Security team and stakeholders to ensure successful and timely completion. The priority projects for FY25 have been defined and are ready to be implemented.
The opportunity to join our team
The Cyber Security Project Manager will play a crucial role in executing our board-endorsed cyber strategy, this is multi-year, multi-focused strategic program aims to elevate our cyber security capabilities This role works closely with the Cyber Program Manager, project sponsors, project resources including external partners, Cyber Security team members, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time. This role is responsible for managing and delivering identified Cyber Security owned projects within the strategic cyber security program.
What you will bring
You will have solid background in project management, with a demonstrated focus on cyber security projects. Candidates should possess experience in developing and implementing comprehensive cyber security strategies, policies, and procedures, as well as providing advisory services to internal stakeholders. Knowledge of project management methodologies (including both Waterfall and Agile) and tools such as JIRA, and experience in applying them to cyber security projects are required. The ability to prioritise projects, manage resources, and monitor progress effectively is paramount.
