WHAT WE OFFER

Our IT Security team focuses on the promotion and utilization of IT security principles and designs across the Covestro Group and the appropriate protection of IT resources and systems for corporate IT and OT. In this role you will work closely with various functions in Covestro's IT. Become part of the architecture team for the entire MS Cloud.

In detail, this will include the following tasks:

• In close cooperation with our operational teams, the IT security team, the cloud teams, the cyber defense team and the cloud decision committees, you will be our expert (m/f/d) in all security-related questions and will mainly be available to advise cloud engineering / platform / landing zone teams

• The main areas of responsibility are the independent evaluation, planning and design of new Azure Cloud functions and the standardization of security solutions including monitoring

• Another focus is on prototyping new security-relevant configurations

• You carry out regular architecture reviews

• Ensuring the transfer of knowledge between the cloud platform and the IT security team / "training the experts" is also part of your portfolio

WHAT YOU OFFER

• You have a successful university degree in (business) informatics, natural sciences or a comparable education and have already gained several years of professional experience, e.g. in an IT consultancy or experience with digital transformation topics in the area of IT infrastructure and cloud services

• You can also provide evidence of relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect

• We also value excellent (technical) experience in the design of MSFT Azure cloud architectures and a very good understanding of the MSFT Azure Well Architecture Framework, landing zone concepts and tenant structures as well as individual services provided by an MSFT cloud

• Personally, you have strong analytical thinking and conceptual skills to develop goal-oriented solutions as well as excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

• Your intercultural experience and very good English skills round off your profile
