Vulnerability Manager

Role Overview

• Participate in security & engineering CVE process to ensure an up to date and accurate view of vulnerabilities affecting:
  • platform and infrastructure services
  • engineering and security tooling
  • cloud services
• Participate in Workplace Technology vulnerability management process to ensure an up to date and accurate view of vulnerabilities affecting:
  • endpoints
  • staff desktop and mobile applications
• Collate and prioritise applicable vulnerabilities based on Starling Bank’s environment
• Work collaboratively with applicable teams to ensure prompt remediation or mitigation of relevant vulnerabilities.
  • Not accountable for remediation actions.
  • Accountable for documenting and tracking remediation actions between relevant teams.
• Keep current with Starling Bank’s application stack and infrastructure.
• Awareness of new/emerging vulnerabilities.
  • Handling of incidents for new vulnerabilities.
• Work collaboratively with SOC:
  • Prioritise vulnerabilities based on relevance
  • Provide threat intelligence on applicable vulnerabilities
  • Enable SOC to create detections based on vulnerability landscape.
  • Work with SOC to identify any exploitation of potential vulnerabilities.
