    • Provide strategic direction and vision for the DevSecOps engineering chapter, aligning it with broader organizational goals.
    • Lead the chapter in defining, implementing, and continuously improving DevSecOps practices across all application domains.

    • Mentor and coach DevOps engineers, helping them develop their technical skills and leadership capabilities.
    • Recruit top talent to build and expand the DevSecOps engineering team within the chapter.
    • Lead and manage a global DevSecOps Chapter, providing strategic direction and ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
  • DevSecOps Adoption & Transformation:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive adoption plan for CI/CD, Continuous Testing, and security best practices across all application areas.
    • Collaborate closely with application development, data, infrastructure, and security teams to break down silos and drive cross-functional ownership of DevSecOps principles.
    • Define and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of DevSecOps adoption and continuously track progress.
    • Identify and address roadblocks and bottlenecks hindering DevSecOps implementation.
    • Champion automation efforts and streamline development workflows to achieve faster release cycles and higher application quality.
    • Integrate security considerations throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
  • Technical Expertise & Innovation:
    • Possess a deep understanding of DevSecOps principles, methodologies, and best practices.
    • Demonstrate strong proficiency in CI/CD tools and technologies
    • Maintain a strong understanding of continuous testing methodologies and tools
    • Possess a solid grasp of cloud platforms and infrastructure as code (IaC) principles.
    • Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in the DevSecOps space and evaluate their potential for improving efficiency and security.

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience in DevSecOps engineering or a related field.
  • Proven track record of leading and scaling DevSecOps initiatives across large, complex organizations.
  • Deep understanding of CI/CD, continuous testing, and security best practices.
  • Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.) is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to drive measurable results and demonstrate the impact of DevSecOps initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience in a senior leadership role, ideally within DevSecOps or a related field.
  • Experience developing and implementing security policies and procedures.
  • Certifications in DevSecOps, cloud platforms, or security frameworks.

Why You’ll Love Working Here:

  • Be at the forefront of DevSecOps adoption and innovation.
