    Job Description

    We are looking for a talented PKI Architect to join our growing team and lead the development of secure activation processes for a streaming video product. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing PKI solutions, with a focus on enhancing the activation journey for users. If you enjoy making an impact on a fast moving, dynamic team, this position could be a great fit for you!

    This is a part-time, Philadelphia-based position, with the possibility of hybrid work (in the U.S.) and will be a 1099 4 week contract with possible extension.

    The hourly rate is $70/hr. – $75/hr.  Candidates will be paid within this range based on their work experience and skills. Candidates are also eligible for limited benefits such as health insurance, professional development, trainings, our referral bonus program, and our wellness program.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design and implement a robust PKI infrastructure to support secure activation and authentication processes for our streaming video product.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineering, cybersecurity, and product management to integrate PKI solutions into the activation journey seamlessly.
    • Develop and maintain documentation and best practices for PKI implementation and management.
    • Conduct security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Stay current on emerging technologies and best practices in PKI and cybersecurity to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
    • 7 years of experience in designing and implementing PKI solutions, preferably in a large-scale, consumer-facing digital environment.
    • Strong understanding of cryptographic concepts, digital certificates, and certificate management systems.
    • Experience with authentication protocols such as OAuth, SAML, and OpenID Connect.
    • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
