Technology Risk & Compliance Analyst

The Opportunity
Onfido’s Risk & Compliance team continues to grow to support the business as we scale globally and prepare for an IPO.
We’re looking for a talented and motivated Technology Risk & Compliance Analyst to join our team in India to support the business in managing Onfido’s growing technology compliance and audit & risk requirements. This role is recognised as critical to the business, and you will play a key role in ensuring Onfido continues to meet our expanding client and regulatory requirements.
In this unique role you’ll interact with external parties such as auditors, clients, and suppliers, and you will also collaborate with talented colleagues across Engineering, Security, Legal, Finance, Procurement, People and more. You will be comfortable working in cross-functional teams and enjoy problem-solving, including navigating through ambiguity.

As a Technology Risk & Compliance Analyst at Onfido you will:

• Perform internal and external audits, and produce high quality reports, to ensure that key risks are identified, assessed, and managed
• Advise the business on implementing and improving policies and controls
• Manage external relationships including third party audits of Onfido (e.g. our annual SOC2 audit) and responding to client queries, and manage Onfido’s supply chain risks
• Perform research and document analysis of new compliance requirements
• Work cross-functionally with internal teams to support Onfido’s business including providing subject matter expertise

We’re looking for a Technology Risk & Compliance Analyst who can display the below skills & experience throughout our interview process:

• 4+ years experience working in Tech Risk or Audit
• Experience in information security risks and controls in a global organisation
• Strong Microsoft Office / Google Docs experience
• Experience independently planning and leading projects to completion
• Experience working collaboratively and cross-functionally across various levels and teams
• Communication, presentation, and interpersonal experience
• Experience managing competing priorities and simultaneous projects
• Strong interest in current and emerging technologies, demonstrated through training, job experience, or wider research
• Independent worker and motivated self-starter, thriving on ambiguity
• Can-do attitude to change, including proactively proposing and driving process improvements and responding to difficult circumstances with creativity and resilience
• Strong analytical skills to interpret and present data

Also desirable:

• Experience of one or more of SOC1, SOC2, ISO 27001, COBIT, SOx, or other IT compliance frameworks, including a solid understanding of the 3 lines of defence (3LoD) model
• Relevant certifications in one or more of the following areas desirable: CISA, CISM, CIPP, CISSP, CRISC, Accounting (e.g. CA/ACA/ACCA/CIMA), a degree in Computer Science, or MSc in relevant subject
• Experience of Oracle Netsuite ERP, AWS Cloud, Google Enterprise, and/or Agile software development
