Product Analyst - Cyber Defence Product Area (Hybrid set up)

Join a team of cybersecurity professionals and help Swiss Re to fulfil its mission in making the world more resilient. As a Product Analyst, you'll support the product team and own various tools, technologies, and processes for Swiss Re's Cyber Defence Area. What's more, you'll be working in a hybrid setup, perfectly balancing work from home and the office premises.

 

 

About the team

 

The Security Team is the focal point for all security activities across Swiss Re. We are responsible for cybersecurity engineering and operations, governance, risk and compliance, and defining as well as advancing the company's security strategy. As a part of the Security Team, the Product Area focuses on delivering the right technology to enable our incident response team, as well as ensuring that our security detections are working correctly and are targeted towards the appropriate threats. We’re looking for highly organized and motivated individuals who will take on the incentive of finding the best solution for our security platform and detection engineering and continue managing and improving it along with a dedicated team of experts.

 

 

In your role, you will…

 

•    Collaborate with peers and stakeholders to develop product vision and strategy, product roadmaps, and deliver detailed product requirements, workflows, and user stories
•    Conduct research and analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of current product offerings and identify areas for improvement
•    Develop and implement solutions to optimise business processes, automate workflows, and modernise our monitoring and response systems
•    Perform requirements analysis, ensuring that solutions meet business needs and requirements, and perform user acceptance testing
•    Stay up to date on the latest industry trends and advancements in technology to inform product development and ensure the company remains competitive in the market
•    Support the team's Product Manager in their responsibilities

 

 

Your qualifications

 

Nobody is perfect and meets 100% of our requirements. If you, however, meet some of the criteria below and are curious about the world of analysis in the Cyber Defence area, we'll be more than happy to meet you!

 

•    What we need from you:
o    Ability to present complex topics towards different audiences with various technical levels
o    Experience with project management and organisational change
o    Knowledge of Agile methodologies
o    Good written and spoken communication skills in English

•    You should have awareness of:
o    Cyber Security Operations and associated technologies
o    Business process (re-)engineering and automation
o    Business analysis and product life cycle

•    Nice-to-have
o    Experience with programming languages and application design & architecture
o    Experience with leading SIEM solutions such as Elastic, Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, or others
o    Knowledge of cloud-based technologies and environments such as Azure or AWS
