IT Security Coordinator

Trasys International offers IT Consulting jobs at the European Institutions and International Organizations. For our customer based in Brussels (hybrid/homework allowed from Belgium), one of the European Institutions, we are looking for an IT SECURITY CONSULTANT. You will assist in fulfilling business-as-usual and project tasks, as outlined in detail below. 

Your mission:

• Assistance in the implementation of IS security policies.
• Make a security assessment of the information systems AS-IS.
• Perform a gap analysis between the AS-IS and the TO-BE from the audit.
• Evaluations of required security processes, products, and tools to fulfill the audit recommendations.
• Propose a detailed action plan and list the actions to reach the target.
• Identify the stakeholders (including yourself) to implements these actions.
• Coordinate their resolution for a resolution within the given time-frame.
• Management of security tests (when required).
• Provision of security audits of databases (if required).
• Document processes and procedures put in place in the context of the audit recommendations
• Provide report on the implemented actions from the security audit.
  

Requirements

Desired experience on your side

• Good knowledge of information systems security.
• Good knowledge of IT security standards.Knowledge of security management methodologies and tools.
• Good experience with quality procedures and audits.
• Strong capacity in preparing and writing studies.
• Ability to apply high quality standards.
• Understanding of the following middleware: Oracle, Middleware (Weblogic).
• Understanding of development, hosting deployment and support processes
  Knowledge of ticketing tools.
• Capability of working in an international/multicultural environment.
• Ability to understand, speak, read and write English (C1 level).
• Ideally a Master's degree and at least 15 years of relevant experience. 

Nationality and Security Clearance

As a Personal Security Clearance of level "EU SECRET/SECRET EU" might be requested for this profile, only candidates with a valid EU citizenship will be taken into consideration in the recruitment process.
