Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Jr. Personnel Security Administrator to join our team in the Herndon, VA.

This is an entry-level position.

This is a hybrid position once fully trained.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Testing and implementing personnel security processes

• Maintaining and updating personnel security folders and databases

• Reviewing and submitting security forms for processing

• Completing and transmitting visit requests

• Supporting company prescreening activities

• Tracking and monitoring security clearance processing activities

• Updating both internal and external databases as appropriate

• Ensure all personnel security related files are maintained and compliant with all customer requirements.

Basic Experience: 

• 1+ years of administrative work experience or an associate degree or higher in lieu of administrative work experience

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with SIMS security database

• Experience with Microsoft Office suite of software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

• Experience with Google Gmail, Drive

Security Requirements:

• No clearance required to start. Need to be able to obtain a TS/SCI once on board

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%

• The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a copy machine and computer printer
