DevSecOps Lead

Key Role:

Work on development of tools and processes to drive DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, regression testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments. Work primarily on building enterprise cloud-native solutions involving Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, and Azure. Apply advanced theories, principles, and concepts, and contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Lead the development of solutions to highly complex problems. Work generally with wide latitude for unreviewed action or decision, and be responsible for supervision and development of first level supervisors or managers.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience developing CI/CD pipelines and automating code deployments across multiple SDLC environments
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Ansible or Jenkins
  • Experience leveraging SAST or DAST tools within a pipeline in accordance with "shift left" strategies
  • Knowledge of microservices-based architectures and technologies and how to deploy microservices-based applications
  • Ability to lead engineering projects from requirements gathering to explaining business value of solution, to implementation and ongoing operations
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience within AWS and EKS
  • Knowledge of IRS processes and technologies
  • Ability to develop CI/CD pipelines using AWS native tools or Atlassian
  • AWS Developer Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $122,200.00 to $227,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
