Position Summary 
This position is responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of Metrea information systems and data. Working cohesively with the security operations and platforms technologies team to analyse and evaluate events and logs that are generated by the infrastructure and security tools to implement security measures against cyberattacks. As a member of the SOC team, we drive to be part of a security-conscious culture, collaborating closely with engineers, developers, and executives to create a security infrastructure built on the highest quality of standard that is to be tested and reported to meet regulatory expectations. 

 

Essential Functions Statements 

  • Coordinate the development and dissemination of information security policies, standards, and operational procedures.
  • Collaborate in the design, implementation, monitoring, and governance of the organization’s information security framework.
  • Collaborate in the management, maintenance and execution of continuous monitoring and incident/response program.
  • Implement and maintain configuration controls of operating systems and application security in Microsoft Intune MDM.
  • Analyze and evaluate security events generated from the Microsoft 365 suite (Security, Purview, Defender, Sentinel and AAD)
  • Develop and maintain security awareness program including phishing campaigns and cybersecurity education.
  • Collaboration in the management and maintenance of enterprise networks. 
  • Collaboration in the assistance of end user support and troubleshooting.

 

Competency Statements

  • Knowledge and experience configuring and administering the Microsoft 365 cloud infrastructure required (preferably in the domains of Security and Purview).
  • Knowledge and experience configuring and administering the AWS cloud infrastructure is highly preferable. 
  • Experience with designing systems architecture in compliance with DFARS, ITAR/EAR, NIST, and CMMC is highly preferable.
  • Excellent communication skills, oral and written.
  • Self-starter and able to work effectively both independently and as a team member.
  • Strong organizational time-management skills.
  • Possess strong documentation and procedural writing capabilities.
  • Ability to pass background investigate and to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance.
