We're currently seeking a skilled Cloud Security Engineer with a focus on AWS to join our team on a part-time basis. This role offers flexibility in scheduling, with core hours from 8am to 5pm MST. Location: Remote, US Based

Work You'll Do:

  • AWS Security Management: Oversee the security aspects of our AWS environment, including IAM, VPC, encryption, and compliance.
  • Security Monitoring and Compliance: Utilize AWS Security Hub, Config, and CloudTrail for monitoring, compliance checks, and auditing.
  • Infrastructure Configuration: Implement and manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform and Ansible.
  • CI/CD Integration: Collaborate with our DevOps team to integrate security measures into our CI/CD pipelines.

What You Have:

  • AWS Expertise: Deep understanding of AWS services and security best practices.
  • Scripting and Automation: Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
  • CI/CD Integration: Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Communication: Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability and willingness to conduct regular security audits and assessments to maintain the integrity of our AWS environment.
  • Provide recommendations for improving AWS security posture based on industry best practices.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required
  • Willing to work 4 hours per day consecutive during with in the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Arizona Time MST

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors.
