Short Description

Implements, monitors and maintains information security policies and procedures. Operates and supports network security systems to enforce information security policy objectives, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/protection systems, logging, reporting, and alerting infrastructure for security related events. Implements security standards, procedures, and guidelines for multiple platforms and diverse systems environments. May have any of the following responsibilities: gathers and assesses information security vulnerabilities and intelligence findings; reviews, tests and implements security plans, products and control techniques; troubleshoots networking security issues and maintains network security services to ensure data integrity; maintains tools required to perform security operations that are in alignment with SOX requirements; generates audit reports to provide information for SOX validation. Provides technical support for risk assessments and implementation of appropriate data security procedures and products. Works with guidance on projects within defined criteria. Provides solutions to a diverse range of moderately complex problems.
