National Gas Transmission (NGT) has an exciting and important role in net zero and in leading a fair energy transition for the UK. We will do this by developing the green gas system of tomorrow, while delivering the natural gas needs of today. 
 
The Security function here at National Gas delivers a holistic security service to the whole of the organisation.
 
Due to continued growth within the Security function, we are seeking a talented Head of Security Products and Engineering to lead the Platform Security Engineering capability here at National Gas.

You will be responsible for technical security standards and guiding a world class team on complex security issues, whilst developing and building Security-as-a-Service and leading the IDAM programme.

You’ll embed security into Agile SDLC processes and review configuration and architecture for security weaknesses, all while working on the 3-year strategic vision for our security estate.

 
This is a hybrid role based between our Warwick HQ and Home, and the closing date for applications is 31st May 2024.

About You

• Superb senior leadership and management experience in Security
• Thorough understanding of industry regulations and standards
• Ability to collaborate across the Security and other IT functions.
• Excellent technical knowledge in areas like network security, cloud security, security engineering, appsec and IAM
• CISSP, CISM certifications
