PKI Subject Matter Expert

The Opportunity:

You know that the user is the last frontier for cyber security. It’s where the perimeter is drawn, and securing identities is pivotal in the fight against cybercriminals. As a Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) SME, you have the skills and experience to keep hackers from taking data and breaking processes. We’re looking for someone like you to help our clients meet their missions without disruption.

As a PKI SME at Booz Allen, you’ll play a critical role in the world of identity and access management and zero trust. In this role, you’ll support large-scale Identity Access Management (IAM) projects for our government clients. You’ll interface with stakeholders and engineering teams to delve into the details and dependencies of critical processes and users’ roles within them.

You’ll analyze the identity life cycle, articulating access requirements and defining enterprise identity records. You’ll use your experience in IAM to design, deploy, and support systems that verify appropriate user privileges and manage credentials for accessing our clients’ most valuable assets. From single sign-on to privileged access systems, you’ll have the chance to implement enterprise-class solutions and stop adversaries in their tracks.

Join us. The world can’t wait.

You Have:

  • Experience in directory interoperability, including publication of encryption and policy certificates to LDAP directories
  • Knowledge of PKI Smartcard and Biometric Technologies and related international and federal standards
  • Knowledge of validation systems including Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP) solution, Certificate and Revocation Lists (CRLs) published to the government client’s HTTP and LDAP resources, and Server-based Certificate Validation Protocol (SCVP) solutions
  • Experience in PKI interoperability with certificate issuance and management systems
  • Experience in issuance, management, and use of certificates such as authentication, digital signature, and encryption to software- and hardware-token cryptographic modules such as test and production of PIV cards under HID Global ActivClient middleware
  • Experience in issuance, management, and use of certificates in future Identity and Access Management (IdAM) environments
  • Experience in PKI digital certificates and keys to meet specific government client and Federal policy requirements such as stated in PKI Certificate Policy and the common policy
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience in certificate-based authentication to secondary accounts, such as privileged accounts
  • Experience in troubleshooting and usage of authentication keys and certificates in the government client’s Single Sign-On (SSO) environments
  • Knowledge of the USAccess Card Management System (CMS), as integrated with the government client’s PKI
  • Knowledge of the USAccess credentialing infrastructure including fixed and mobile enrollment and activation stations
  • Knowledge of issuance, management, and use of certificates with Identity-Guard based Derived PIV Credential (DPC) environment and various Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions
  • Public Trust

Vetting:

Applicants selected will be subject to a government investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements of the U.S. government client.
