  • Lead a team of highly capable engineers responsible for architecture changes and security needs.
  • Ensure the team helps product and infrastructure teams keep code free from security
    bugs.
  • Build the team through recruitment and personal growth efforts.
  • Develop a roadmap for future work, track progress against it, and evaluate the team’s performance.
  • Partner with
    engineering leaders across the company to help prioritize security issues within their products and to balance business goals.
  • Direct engineers tasked with technical investigation,
    enforcement, and engineering efforts toward predictable high-quality execution.
  • Lead technical discussions with team, oversee threat model, secure design and code reviews.
  • Act as a
    subject matter expert, and drive technical security strategy.
  • Telecommute from anywhere in the US permitted.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, or related field and three years of work experience in job offered or in a security engineering-related occupation. Requires three years of experience in the following:
  • 1. Ensuring security and privacy on the internet
  • 2. Technical management of engineers
  • 3. Security disciplines: web applications, mobile memory management, or infrastructure
  • 4. Coding in multiple languages including PHP, Python, Java and Javascript
  • 5. Conducting threat model, secure design and code reviews
  • 6. Working with cross-functional partners to define security methodologies, policies, and problems.
