General Summary:
The Compliance Analyst is responsible for helping the organization achieve and maintain certifications across various global compliance frameworks. This role works in partnership with cross-functional teams to create, refine, and measure the effectiveness of established controls, playing an integral role in the compliance program.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Provides support to the Information Security team, with a high attention to detail
• Researches, analyzes, and documents findings
• May influence others within the Information Security team through the explanation of facts, policies, and practices
• Participate as an analyst in the compliance framework, as well as other frameworks as needed
• Supports the automation of manual and redundant activities such as evidence collection for audits
• Participates in projects cross-functional, supporting a variety of outcomes
• Helps identify changes to the global regulatory landscape that might impact the organization and map out and implement changes as necessary
• Partners with the legal team to align compliance activities to regulatory requirements
• Recommends changes to controls and processes and helps measure the effectiveness of operation
• Works within the team to identify, track, and remove impediments to improve our internal auditing process
• Participates in customer facing activities as required
• Participates in the vendor risk management review process as needed
• Participates and/or leads compliance reviews of security incidents and data breaches and creates post incident reviews that highlight issues and/or outcomes that need to be communicated both internally as
well as potentially externally to partners
• Assists in cross mapping controls from one framework to another as new frameworks are considered


Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required:• Ability to work independently on projects and processes with general supervision
• Practical knowledge of applicable work area
• Ability to situationally adapt and understand new technology/processes as per business requirement
• Ability to collaborate with other stakeholders and work in partnership with external auditors and multiple business units simultaneously
• Ability to readily recognize and evaluate the impact of current or potential compliance issues
• Ability to manage multiple activities and events simultaneously, with a strong ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with teams that are geographically distributed
• Strong communication skills with the ability to prepare and present well written papers, briefings, and other materials to senior leadership across the organization
• Demonstrated ability to form coalitions amongst disparate groups, with the ability to produce thorough and precise documentation
• Strong and sound decision making skills

 Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations:
• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent business experience
• 2+ years of relevant experience
• Hands-on information governance, compliance, or audit experience, dealing with relevant industry frameworks (NIST, SOC, ISO, etc.)
• Preferred: Experience in the software or technology service industry is a strong plus
• Preferred: Experience in enterprise risk management
• Preferred: Security certification such as CISSP, CISM, CIPP, or CISA


Working Conditions:
• Hybrid (2 days in a week)
