WHAT TO EXPECT

An essential part of delivering an interconnected experience for vehicles is the efficient and robustness of modern Software Delivery Framework incorporating Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery at Scale. At JLR we are a team at the forefront of building and automating Software Delivery at scale across Digital and Product Engineering as part of our Reimagine strategy.

We run a highly scalable platform (Enterprise Software Factory) run in a DevOps team environment applying SRE practices. We have a rapidly growing userbase and are a rapidly growing team operating in a highly collaborative environment across Digital and Product Engineering. Our Engineers are highly specialised in enabling Software teams to deliver at scale in a unified way as code. The code used to define the pipeline is typically stored our version control system and can be versioned, reviewed, and tested just like any other code. The pipeline code is written using a variety of languages or tools.

By using code to define the pipeline, the entire software delivery process becomes more repeatable, consistent, and scalable.
