Senior Security Engineer

Requirements

• Perform security assessments, working closely with development teams on identifying security issues in their code and finding solutions to provide required functionality securely
• Interact directly with the security community regarding potential vulnerabilities and threats as part of our Bug Bounty program
• Enthusiasm for hunting for potential weaknesses and then crafting creative solutions to eliminate them
• Articulate security findings to internal to a variety of stakeholders, including both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Participate in cross-functional, team, and status review meetings
• Recommend process improvement and strategic initiatives as related to security.
• Highly skilled in writing custom scripts in Python
• Participate in the development and oversight of corrective actions relating to security issues
• Practical experience working with scanning appliances such as Nessus Tenable or Qualys
• Experience in coordinating external PEN testers or with SaaS PEN testing services.
• Experience with infrastructure and distributed systems in a multi-cloud environment
• Strong background working in cloud based environments, in particular AWS or Azure.
• Passionate about loosely held values and ideas. We want someone who has experience but is not blinded by the path already taken.
• Makes decisions based on data. Expertise in data-driven decision making in a sales or partnership environment. You prefer making decisions based on deep analysis when it comes to evaluating sales achievements and course correcting
