Join our industry-leading Cyber Risk Event Management team as an intern and apply your skills to tackle real-world threats facing a major enterprise. Gain hands-on experience in identifying, assessing, and managing cyber risks while working alongside seasoned professionals dedicated to protecting our organization's critical assets

Incident Monitoring and Response: Assists in monitoring security alerts and incidents, identifying potential threats, and participating in the initial response and investigation to mitigate risks to the enterprise.

Risk Assessment and Analysis: Conducts risk assessments and analyze cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and impacts on the organization. Provide recommendations for improving security measures and policies.

Documentation and Reporting: Prepares detailed reports on security incidents, including analysis, response actions, and outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation of risk events and contribute to the development of incident response plans and procedures.

  • Familiarity with cybersecurity principles, risk management frameworks, and incident response procedures. 
  • Basic knowledge of network security, threat analysis, and vulnerability assessment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess and respond to cyber threats effectively. 
  • Proficiency in using cybersecurity tools and software for monitoring and managing security events.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively report findings, document incidents, and collaborate with team members and stakeholders.



Base Pay Information

The national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental’s assessment of the candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity. $41,000 - $83,200
