Job Description

As a Senior Security Operations Architect, you will be at the forefront of safeguarding our operations, managing SecOps functions including Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), and orchestrating tasks within our Security Operations Center (SOC). Your responsibilities will span from identifying and defining system and security requirements to configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting security infrastructure devices and services. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in the preparation and documentation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for critical IT security areas such as Incident Handling, Problem Management, and Forensic Investigations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage SecOps operations, overseeing SIEM and coordinating SOC tasks.
  • Define system and security requirements, baselines, and controls for existing and new IT infrastructure developments.
  • Contribute to the creation and documentation of SOPs in IT security areas.
  • Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot security infrastructure devices and services.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and new technical solutions to enhance security posture and operational efficiency.
  • Participate in the evaluation and selection of security products and solutions, coordinating Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and project management.

Qualifications

  • Proven work experience as a system engineer or security engineer.
  • Technical proficiency in network, database, and operating system security.
  • Familiarity with the latest security principles, techniques, concepts, and protocols.
  • Hands-on experience with security systems including antimalware/antivirus software, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, authentication systems, log management, web application firewalls, VPN, Zero-trust, and cloud technologies.
  • Knowledge/experience with Microsoft Sentinel SIEM, SOCs, Microsoft Azure, antimalware & EDR Solutions (CrowdStrike), Zscaler, F5 WAF, Cisco Umbrella, and Firewalls is a plus.

Desired Qualifications:

  • MCSA, CCNA, CCSP, CompTIA Security+, CCSA, CCSE, CISSP certifications.
