Job Summary:
We're seeking talented and ambitious Cybersecurity Research Interns to join our team at Securin! As a Cybersecurity Research Intern, you'll play a crucial role in uncovering hidden threats on the dark web and safeguarding the cyber universe. If you are an expert in Python development and have a passion for cybersecurity, and making a real impact, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Python scripts to scrape and analyze dark web data, identifying potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with our research team to design and implement data extraction and processing pipelines.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of scraped data to identify patterns, trends, and potential threats.
- Work closely with our research and vulnerability intelligence teams to develop and implement threat detection and mitigation strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in dark web technologies and threats, and contribute to the development of our vulnerability intelligence platform.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- Enrolled in a Master’s program focused on Computer Science, preferably in cyber security
- Excellent Python programming and coding experience
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong passion for cybersecurity and a desire to make a real impact
Nice to Have:
- Interest in Penetration testing experience is a plus
- Experience with web scraping, data analysis, and machine learning techniques
- Familiarity with dark web technologies and threats
