Capgemini is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Information Security Specialist for a top 10 US Insurance Carrier.

Locations: Argentina, Brazil, Colombia Mexico and India. PST to EST work schedule.

Job Summary: Utilize risk-based methodologies to perform technical analysis of cybersecurity risks. Analyze security requirements, advise on protecting information systems, and perform security testing and risk assessments. Manage security and technology platforms, analyze security breaches, participate in architectural discussions, and document security policies.

Responsibilities:

Identify, assess, document, and articulate data security and privacy risks.

Perform risk and vulnerability assessments of technology focus areas.

Capture security controls to integrate security within the process and ensure legal and regulatory compliance.

Lead process improvement in detecting and responding to cybersecurity incidents.

Review, approve, and ensure implementation of security configurations.

Build and manage relationships with local business and IT stakeholders.

Collaborate on cross-functional projects and influence teams to create innovative solutions.

Create, review, and update security policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.

Act as a SME for company technology platforms and participate in architectural discussions.

Lead security projects/initiatives and serve as an internal consultant.

Utilize security reporting data to recommend solutions and train Analysts on job responsibilities.

Develop on-the-job training materials and perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Bachelors Degree in Information Systems or related discipline preferred.

Firewall experience, Web Application Firewall (WAF) experience, and understanding of network infrastructure.

Strong troubleshooting acumen.

Ability to work constructively with multiple internal teams and stakeholders.

Demonstrated analytical skills.

Solid critical thinking skills to create and articulate logical, risk-based outcomes.

Demonstrates a high commitment to quality.

Commitment to being detail-oriented and observant in order to identify opportunities for process improvement.

Possesses a high degree of initiative.

Performs work independently with minimal supervision.

Demonstrated time management and priority setting skills.

Strong verbal communication and listening skills.

Excellent writing and presentation skills.

CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, CIPP, or equivalent Certification upon hire, preferred.

Five to seven years professional experience in IT Security or Information Security Risk consulting and Project Management, or comparable base of knowledge/expertise in the field, required.
