Job Overview:
This role is a 6 Month Contract, and it's integral to providing expert guidance and support in all aspects of information technology to enhance the company's operations and ensure optimal performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT consulting, with a proven track record of delivering innovative solutions to meet business needs. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the success of the organization.

You will be the only Consultant in their department, so you'll need to be comfortable with being self-sufficient.

Projects and Implementations:
Spearheading the implementation of an ERP System slated for launch in August. This initiative is designed to streamline operations across departments and empower consultants with a SaaS (Software as a Service) solution, enhancing their efficiency in performing daily tasks.

Job Description

Assessment and Analysis:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of current IT systems, infrastructure, and processes to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.

  • Analyze business requirements and objectives to develop tailored IT solutions that align with company goals.

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop strategic IT plans and roadmaps to support business objectives and drive digital transformation initiatives.

  • Provide recommendations on technology investments, upgrades, and implementations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

System Integration and Implementation:

  • Lead the design, integration, and implementation of IT systems, applications, and solutions to meet business needs.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless integration and successful deployment of IT projects.

Security and Compliance:

  • Assess and mitigate IT security risks by implementing robust security measures, protocols, and best practices.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and industry guidelines related to data privacy and security.

Training and Support:

  • Provide training and support to end-users on IT systems, applications, and tools to enhance user proficiency and productivity.

  • Serve as a resource and escalation point for troubleshooting and resolving IT-related issues and inquiries.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.

  • Proactively recommend and implement process enhancements and technological advancements to optimize IT performance and functionality.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field; master's degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in IT consulting or related roles, with a strong understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and best practices.

  • Proficiency in IT project management methodologies and tools, with demonstrated experience leading successful IT projects from inception to completion.

  • Expertise in IT security principles and practices, including risk assessment, threat detection, and incident response.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Certifications such as PMP, CISSP, ITIL, or CCNA/CISCO are a plus.

Additional Information

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, from 9 to 5
