Job Description

Cyber Security Product Coordinator

Overview:  a pivotal role within our organisation, tasked with managing and coordinating the successful release of our offerings, comprised of vendor products and our services. This role demands a blend of market insight and operational efficiency, ensuring our service offerings are launched in line with the company's vision and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Release Coordination and Management:
    • Lead the coordination and release of offerings, aligning with strategic objectives set by the Cyber Security CTO and Head of Offering Management.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders throughout the offering lifecycle.
    • Oversee the integration of vendor products with our services from concept to market launch.
  2. Collaborative Working:
    • Work in tandem with the Cyber Security CTO, strategic working groups, and cross-functional Offering release groups to translate offering visions into actionable plans.
    • Implement Agile methodologies to promote efficient processes and team collaboration.
  3. Quality Assurance and Risk Management:
    • Ensure the quality and timeliness of offering releases, meeting stakeholder expectations.
    • Identify and address potential risks in the release process, devising appropriate mitigation strategies.
    • Produce and disseminate regular progress reports, focusing on resource allocation and backlog management.
  4. Process Improvement:
    • Continuously seek ways to enhance offering management processes, emphasising Agile methodologies.
    • Lead initiatives to automate and streamline processes, improving team efficiency.
    • Standardise communication across teams for improved clarity and effectiveness.
  5. Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Maintain consistent communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on offering development and release stages.
    • Prepare and present reports and updates to keep stakeholders informed and involved.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in Offering/Product Coordination, Product Ownership, Project Management, or similar roles, ideally in the Cyber Security sectors
  • Strong project management skills, proficient in Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira, Trello).
  • An understanding of Managed and Professional Services is advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with various teams.
