National Gas Transmission (NGT) has an exciting and important role in net zero and in leading a fair energy transition for the UK. We will do this by developing the green gas system of tomorrow, while delivering the natural gas needs of today. 

 The Security function here at National Gas delivers a holistic security service to the whole of the organisation.

 
Due to continued growth within the Security function, we are seeking a talented Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst to join our dynamic cyber security team in defending our Critical National Energy Infrastructure against cyber threats. 

In this role, you will proactively identify, analyse, and mitigate cyber risks targeting our organisation.

 
This is a hybrid role based between our Warwick HQ and Home, and the closing date for applications is 28th May 2024.

About You

• Commercial experience in cyber threat intelligence, security analysis, or incident response
• Skilled in using threat intelligence platforms, data mining, and analytical techniques
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities for presenting technical information clearly
• Self-motivated with superb problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Knowledge of SCADA systems and threats is advantageous
• Industry certifications such as GCTI, GCIA, or CISSP highly desirable
