About the role

  • Our Group Data Privacy team, composed of 3 people, is integrated in the General Counsel Global Business Unit.
  • As a Privacy Compliance Expert, you will provide expertise on GDPR and its interpretation, templates, and legal guidance to ensure the Group’s compliance with GDPR and local Privacy Laws through coordinating a network of Legal Privacy Networks.
  • You will be accountable for:
    • Provide strategic legal advice to the organization
    • Identify and evaluate the legal Privacy Compliance risks to support the Group Data Protection Officer
    • Contribute to preparing communications and legal recommendations on privacy matters for the Group
    • Define legal Privacy documentation based on GDPR requirements
    • Serve as an escalation point for Business Legal Counsel in case of privacy-related contract issues
    • Ensure Privacy regulatory watch and communications to the organization on Privacy evolutions
  • We offer a permanent contract based on onsite working mode.

 

About you

  • Degree or equivalent in Law.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in the legal field with a focus on Privacy Compliance, preferably in the chemical industrial field.
  • Competencies:
    • Fluency in English is mandatory. Any other language is a plus
    • Knowledge of applicable data protection laws, GDPR and ePrivacy in particular, and legislation specifically applicable to the organization such as in IT, Digital Innovations
    • Understanding of Information Technologies (to be able to interact with IT and Cybersecurity specialists in Digital projects)

About the pay and benefits

  • Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the primary country base pay reasonably expected for this role is 62,000.00 € to 93,000.00 €, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and other incentives.
