Strategic Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst

Our Cyber Threat Intelligence function is rapidly growing, and we are hiring threat intelligence analysts to work with our diverse customer base. At Accenture Security, you will be part of a specialised team delivering threat intelligence services to clients with highly complex and challenging environments around the world. You will work in a fast paced and highly collaborative environment, working closely with our Incident Response, Red Team and Managed Security Services capabilities.
As a strategic threat intelligence analyst, you will assess real-world events and geopolitics and consider how these align with and motivate events in the cyber threat landscape. You will evaluate patterns in threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) and seek to understand their motivations, whether it is to reap the greatest financial reward, in response to real-world events, or collecting data to satisfy intelligence requirements.
Our threat assessments evaluate the threats facing an organisation, considering which threat actors are active in the relevant sector or region; what TTPs the threat actors display; their motivations and objectives; and how they would target the client’s organisation. Through this, you will equip clients with the knowledge to make informed strategic business decisions, focus their cyber security strategy, and develop proactive approaches to mitigation and detection.
Responsibilities· Produce strategic reporting for a range of threat intelligence engagements and clients, including those delivered in alignment with frameworks such as CBEST, GBEST and CREST STAR· Work with a diverse client base· Continue to build understanding of the cyber threat landscape, threat actors, and how real-world events and geopolitics influence cyber activity.· Apply common threat intelligence frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, Cyber Killchain, Diamond Model)· Work closely with the tactical, operational, and technical threat intelligence analysts, as well as Incident Response, Red Team, and Managed Security Services capabilities
Desired skills· Highly articulate in both written and verbal communication and able to express complex concepts to a range of audiences· Inquisitive mind, able to ask the right questions· Ability to conduct focused research as part of a team and independently· Keen interest in cyber security as demonstrated by experience/training/education or extra-curricular pursuits· Strong understanding of geopolitical landscape· Ability to hold UK Security ClearanceIf you have had experience of / exposure to any of the following disciplines, please highlight in your application and explain how these could be applied to the role· International Relations, Politics, Criminology, English, Sociology· Research, journalism· Cyber security, Incident Response, Threat Intelligence, Penetration testing· Military intelligence
