Senior Security Engineer

The ‘EMEA Professional Services - Security Practice’ is looking for a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to support its ‘Cloud Security Service’ in the UK. As part of a small, but fast-growing team, you will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) to advise and guide customers on their cloud security journey.
You will be engaged with customers to help assess their cloud security posture and to ensure any subsequent cloud design and build is appropriately secured. This may be applicable to a customer’s single cloud, or multi-cloud environment, or when a customer wishes to move its environment from on-premise to the cloud. You will also be expected to help us evolve existing services, as well as implement new ones, under the ‘Cloud Security Service’ banner.

Person Specification

• Experience working with either AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Experience implementing content delivery network tools, ideally Cloudflare.
• Engineering experience with technologies such as firewalls, vulnerability management tools, IDP/IPS, HIDs, FIM, EDR, WAFs, IAM and various other security controls including cloud native security tools.
• Knowledge of transitioning organizations to Zero Trust
• Relevant certifications/training in Cloud Security Engineering.
• Experience in securing legacy environments
• Experience with DevOps and IaC
