Responsibilities

Peraton seeks a Defensive Cyber Analyst to support the Joint Cyber Center (JCC) at USSPACECOM.  Location:  Colorado Springs, CO

In this role, you wil:

  • Analyze and evaluates oftware products and systems
  • Ensure systems comply with requirements and IA standards
  • Support the analysis of system/network cyber warfare attacks, techniques, and procedures
  • Provide analysis support for design reviews to ensure applicability to the current system and requirements traceability
  • Support the production of papers, presentations, recommendations, and findings for the government

Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD. Will consider HS with 12 years of experience.
  • Monitors, analyzes, and detects cyber events and incidents within information systems and networks under general supervision.
  • Able to provide offensive and defensive targeting analysis to assist in the planning of short-term and long-term analysis.
  • Familiar with intelligence cycle and intelligence doctrine (e.g., DOD Joint Publications).
  • Familiar with  all-source intelligence analysis and production support for cyber threat warnings Able to conduct Indications and Warnings (I&W) activities related to networks, first phase analysis of cyber incidents.
  • IAT Level II certification and/or CSSP Incident Responder or CSSP Analyst certification.
  • DoD TS SCI clearance.

Preferred:

  • Experience with the DoD Risk Management Framework

Target Salary Range

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
