Team: The Genesys Global Security, Privacy & Compliance COE (Centre of Excellence) team is made up of Security/Privacy/Compliance experts with the skills to provide expert services in support of the Genesys business (Genesys Sales, Presales, Customers, Partners, Prospects, external consultants etc.). The team is single point of contact for these teams for all security, privacy & compliance related engagements. The team sits within the Genesys Cloud business unit.


Role and Responsibilities:

Enterprise Consultant is one of the most senior positions within our global COE team. Your work will be focused on following 3 main areas:

Consulting: (Around 50%)

  • You will assist our sales account team to support security, privacy & compliance discussions that include explaining security, privacy and compliance policies, controls and processes for Genesys solutions. 
  • You will be addressing address product security/privacy/compliance questions/concerns and own consulting engagements for key prospects, customers, and partners as assigned. 
  • You will be expected to show security, privacy and compliance product features to our prospects, customers, and partners to support our security, compliance and privacy approach.
  • You will support and contribute towards audits/assessments/due diligence engagements.

Security Contract Work: (Around 25%)

  • You will be required to review customer provided terms/policies and map them against Genesys terms/polices for gap analysis. This includes Go/No-Go decisions on the basis of the completed gap analysis.
  • You will be required to provide technical markups on customer provided security policies and terms and support our legal teams during security specific contract negotiations as a technical advisor.

Field Enablement (Around 25%)

  • You will assist in the enablement of our Sales, Presales, CSM teams, and our Partners, ensuring a solid foundation of security understanding is established and that they have the skills needed to be successful in the execution of their engagements by delivering quarterly webinars.
  • You will be required to present in front of large audiences. These sales and other external events will typically cover security, privacy & compliance topics.  You will also be required to deliver one quarterly webinar for our partners/customers to educate on our security, privacy & compliance approach.

Assets creation: Every team member is required to contribute to ongoing internal team projects (regional or global) which forms a key part of our scalability and success.

  • You will create customer facing assets;
    • Checklist for key regulations and verticals (FSI, Healthcare & Public/Government etc) along with supporting evidence
    • Demos & presentations to demonstrate our compliance approach.

This will require research, creating templates and mapping different laws/regulations’ requirements to the Genesys compliance approach with a close collaboration will other global & regional stakeholders.  

You will own and manage other global engagements as and when required.

This role has a global scope so you will be required to manage your own time with flexibility of also being available for APAC and NA escalations or webinars/meetings.

The minimum you need to succeed: 

  • Show Empathy, Passion, Energy and a willingness to go above and beyond.
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Cloud Technology, Cyber Security OR related certifications such as AWS Certified Security, Microsoft Azure Security OR similar recent professional experience within cloud environments
  • Professional proven experience within Amazon Web Services, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing or Networking, Integrations.
  • Strong background and past hands-on experience for engaging with large projects/customers/partners within customer experience/digital engagement/AI cloud solutions.
  • Prior Genesys Cloud product hands-on Experience or similar competitive products, in an operational, professional services or presale’s role.
  • Vertical (Healthcare, Finance & Public sector) specific experience.
  • Excellent Presentation & Technical writing skills. 
  • Be a Team Player; be adaptable and able to multi-task.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own time to support our global partners/customers and be detail oriented.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing work environments.
  • Work in-line with team and company standards.
  • Goal-oriented and have the self-discipline to complete all work tasks on time.
  • Ability to present complex information in a clear, concise manner.
  • Fluency (Written and spoken) in the English language is required.
  • Ability to work at a computer terminal 90% of the typical workday.

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Previous AI/Digital solution experiences from security, privacy and compliance standpoint.
  • Designing Secure distributed Architectures.
  • Email, CRM applications.
  • Competitive Customer experience cloud solutions experience.
