Senior Network Security Engineer

• As part of the global role, work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT operations, infrastructure, and application teams, to implement security controls and address security requirements
• Design, configure, and maintain Palo Alto Networks firewall solutions to protect our network infrastructure from external threats.
• Configure and maintain Palo Alto Networks' GlobalProtect VPN solution to provide secure remote access for employees, contractors, and partners.
• Deploy and manage Palo Alto Networks' Prisma Access solution to secure remote access and ensure secure connectivity for our distributed workforce.
• Develop and enforce network security policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Show ownership and drive issues to conclusion including post-mortem phase, identifying root causes and improvement actions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest network security technologies, trends, and threats. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement security enhancements proactively.

What you will need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years profound knowledge and experience in working in an Enterprise Network infrastructure.
• Expert level engineering knowledge in designing, implementing, and managing Palo Alto firewalls, Prisma Access, GlobalProtect, and proxy solutions.
• Experience managing and maintaining a firewall inspection VPC in an AWS environment, including expertise in configuring and optimizing security groups, network access control lists (NACLs), route tables, and other relevant AWS networking components.
• Ability to evaluate connectivity products and offer IT network solutions in line with security guidelines:
  • Common IT network Security knowledge (Firewalls / 802.1x)
  • Common IT WAN/LAN experience (Cisco LAN and Datacenter LAN)
  • Common IT DDIN (DNS/DHCP/NTP)
  • Common network tooling understanding
• Experience understanding of  Terraform, Cloudformation, Ansible, REST API and similar DevOps coding and concepts.
• Familiar with SAFe Agile Framework and way of working.
• You have an entrepreneurial mindset, you overcome challenges being decisive and accept responsibility for your outcomes.
• Constant desire to improve the status quo and improve your skills, learn from your mistakes and take continuous action on your ideas.
• Thorough analytic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex problems and propose practical solutions
• Work under pressure to meet customer network needs with quality, and in a timely manner and expected to respond after hours.

Contract: This is a fulltime position with a permanent contract
