What does a day look like for you here? 

Working on hybrid basis, you'll be part of a friendly Cyber Security team which includes other SOC Analysts and a dedicated Senior Leadership team.  Our team provides our customers with critical outsourced Blue Team functions to defend their systems. As part of our outstanding security team, you will help protect digital assets from cyber threats and ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information systems and data.

Your role is multifaceted and vital in ensuring the resilience of our customers’ digital infrastructure. You will play a proactive role in identifying and resolving technical faults, utilising your expertise to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions that uphold system integrity.

You may also participate in account management calls where your technical insights will provide invaluable support, offering guidance and recommendations to address customers’ concerns and requirements. You’ll collaborate closely with Customer Technical Leads, engaging in detailed discussions to swiftly resolve issues and discrepancies.

Your involvement extends beyond internal operations to customer Incident Response activities, your analytical skills and technical acumen contribute to the rapid identification, containment, and remediation of security breaches. In addition to reactive measures, you also engage in proactive activities such as QA ticket triage and investigation, meticulously examining system logs and data to identify potential vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.

Depending on your level of experience, you may also act as an escalation point for other analysts and provide  guiding and mentoring to our junior team members, ensuring a cohesive and effective response to security incidents.

So, what are we looking for?

With at least 2 years in the field, you'll navigate the complex landscape of cybersecurity operations with confidence.  As Cyber Security is a fast moving field, you will also need to be open to staying current with the latest cybersecurity trends and advancements through ongoing training and participation in industry related forums.

You should also have:

  • Extensive knowledge of MDR service, vendor products and client solutions
  • Up-to-date knowledge of latest vulnerabilities and threat intelligence.
  • Experience in threat hunting and analysis.
  • Experience in SIEM and WAF technologies.
  • Networking skills (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, VPN, etc.)
  • Linux Operating Systems (specifically Linux CLI)
