Senior Consultant (Multiple Positions Available)

Work as a Technical Lead involved in mobile application design, development, deployment, production support, and bug fixing.

Drive projects during all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in different domains.

Analyze existing project data to determine specifications or requirements.

Work with Business Analysts to prepare/update functional specification document during the project requirements stage.

Implement new functionalities to ensure high reliability, availability, and performance of the applications. Perform coding and designing solutions as per BRD. Deploy technical code components for application project go-live in UAT and production environments.

Plan and define testing strategies and perform Unit testing for code changes.

Review and obtain alignment/sign-off on drafted testing scenarios, test cases, sample data for testing the application solution model and code.

Track all project related questions and defect trackers for maintaining all defects raised in SIT (System Integration Testing) /UAT phases which will be used for defect prevention (DP) analysis.

Review project vision documents with business stakeholders, testing team, the user Acceptance Testing (UAT) teams to draft Business Requirement Document (BRD) for technical teams to define and develop IT architecture strategies and roadmaps.

Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve non-routine and very complex mission-critical production issues that immediately impact application availability. Work with development teams on permanent defect resolutions and ensure SLAs (Service Level Agreement) are in compliance and within project code functionality. Map processes to holistically examine business flow and identify improvement opportunities.

Perform Unit and Integrations testing for the code changes done in programs and co-ordinate with different groups of interfacing systems and follow the change control process for production deployment.

Measure the performance of the system and include performance-tuning activities such as Code Optimization, Cache Strategy.

Coordinate with offshore team to explain project requirements, ensure the timely manner of deliverables, and provide knowledge transfer to team members.

Review offshore development activities and provide review comments and feedback.

Ensure quality deliverables from design to rollout phase using best practices.

May be assigned to and provide products/support to specific industry groups such as automotive, banking and finance, healthcare, insurance, and Information Technology.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related. Five (5) years of any occupation with Information Technology experience, or related. Five (5) years of required IT, or related experience must include: JavaScript; TypeScript; Java; Kotlin; React Native; GIT; Bash Script; Android; and Xcode.

ROVING/TELECOMMUTING EMPLOYEE: Reports to company headquarters in Plano, TX. Will work at various unknown client sites throughout the U.S. for up to 100% of the time. Must be willing to travel anywhere in the U.S. and may be assigned to work at client sites across the U.S. Can work remotely or telecommute.

EOE. 8AM to 5PM. M-F. 40. hrs/wk. Salary: $139,464 - $140,464 per year
