Internship - Cyber Security

ROLE DESCRIPTION

Are you looking for an internship in IT starting in July 2024 ? 

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the System Architecture Team (SYA) or the Solutions Engineering Team (SOE) in a fast-paced, growing organization within a dynamic industry.

Based in Betzdorf, Luxembourg, you will contribute to evaluate our cyber security technologies that could be implemented into customer projects as well as establish the associated risk register.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work together with the SYA and SOE teams in analyzing and reporting on open-source based ZTNA (Zero Trust Network Acces) implementation possibilities.
• Implement a Proof of Concept to secure the access of the REACH platform
• Draft the associated risk register
• Assist team in Threat analysis activities
• Analyze Linux security mechanism options against threat identified.
• Work together with Project engineering team in documenting the design and the security mechanism

YOUR PROFILE

1.You must have

• Current student in Information Technology or cyber security
• Very strong computer literacy (network, Linux system, web applications).
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Able to work in Luxembourg (EU-citizenship or valid work permit for Luxembourg).

2. It would be nice if you had

• Strong interest in the global technology, media, and telecom business and satellite communications in particular
• Know-how to configure network equipment (switch, firewall), and install server and virtual machines
• Additional languages considered an asset
