Intern, Cyber Security

Job Purpose

As a Cyber SOC Analyst - Intern, you will be involved in the Cyber Monitoring for SMRT Corp. In this role, you will be exposed to technologies including SIEM (Security Information & Event Management), EDR (Endpoint Detection & Response) and ETP (Email Threat Prevention).

We aim to build internal SOC capabilities for SMRT Corp through innovative and transformative internships.

Responsibilities

Your job scope will include, but not limited to

(1) Continuous monitoring of security alerts and perform initial triage and escalation.

(2) Collaborate with Resident Engineer (RE) in performing deeper analysis and RCA on events/ incident.

(3) Assist to collect logs as part of Incident Response.

(4) Assist in the creation of incident reports.

Qualifications & Work Experience

(1) Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security or any IT or related studies

(2) No Experience needed as training will be provided

(3) Networking such as TCP/IP, switching / routing and Cybersecurity Concepts

(4) Security systems including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, endpoint security and vulnerability management software.

(5) Knowledge of frameworks such as Cyber Kill Chain and Adversary Tactics, Techniques and Procedures
