Jr. Penetration Tester

Responsibilities

• Perform penetration testing on network, infrastructure, IoT devices and software
• Document, track and communicate findings, remediation plan and any recommendations to leadership and stakeholders
• Collaborate with Security Operations Center (SOC) to derive new detection concepts
• Perform vulnerability scans and participate in exploit development
• Participate in security risk assessments, third party penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, incident response as required
• Assist in creation of new testing methods during SDLC
• Provide technical expertise to the network security, strategy, architecture and design solutions as required
• Evaluate tools and solutions to align strategic fit with business requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent domain
• 5 years of direct or equivalent experience in areas of penetration testing (web application, host, network), fuzz testing, exploit dev and designing solutions to the identified vulnerabilities and risk
• Vast knowledge of attack surfaces in network topologies, web technologies, containers/microservices, OS (Linux/Windows)
• Experience to analyze closed source applications using several off the shelf or custom developed tools preferred
• Skilled in relevant languages and ability to develop custom scripts, exploits and tools using Java, C++/C, C#, Ruby
• Experience with industry standard tools such as Wireshark, Metasploit, Netsparker, BeEF, Aircrack or equivalent
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
