OT Cybersecurity Specialist

We are looking for an expert OT Cybersecurity Specialist to support the Measurement Solutions business. Your role responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

• Providing domain expertise in the design and implementation of operational technology (OT) Cybersecurity solutions deployed to the MSOL systems.
• Recommend Cybersecurity measures and solutions to be implemented in compliance with the cybersecurity standards, customer requirements and regulations. Contribute to defining project objectives, scope, and work.
• Assist in developing system architectures and integration plans of the BU systems.
• Supervising new technologies, industry developments, and standard process in relation to OT cyber security.
• Participate in Cybersecurity workshops, risk assessments and remediation engagements for customers.
• Prepare system adequacy studies, gap analysis, Cybersecurity reports, and scope of work documents on new and existing MSOL systems with respect to Cybersecurity measures.
• Conduct Cybersecurity reviews and risk assessments on new and existing systems and provide expert advice on modifications and improvements to address the identified gaps.
• Implement security controls, configuring the Cybersecurity applications and switches, to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
• Conduct detailed testing and validation of OS and AV updates in a lab environment before deployment to the measurement systems, ensuring compatibility and stability.
• Collaborating with engineering teams, IT teams, and other collaborators to implement effective cyber security standard processes and solutions.
• Assist in testing, solving, and optimizing OT systems.
• Support the training department by conducting customer training.
• Adhering to local and international Emerson Trade Compliance and Quality Management procedures, as well as the Emerson Ethics Policy, with respect to all business activities
• Adhering to Emerson’s dedication to Safety as a core business value: taking an active role in the prevention of injuries and accidents; consistently following established rules and procedures; using accurate safety equipment; and reporting and correcting unsafe acts and conditions

Who you are:

Comprehensive solid understanding of OT cybersecurity frameworks, standards and their application in the oil and gas sector.

Experience deploying and implementing OT Cybersecurity applications and technologies such as risk assessments, antivirus software, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, centralized alert logging and monitoring in ICS environments (energy companies or large manufacturing organizations).

What do I need to be considered for this role?

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in electrical engineering, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Experience (10+ years) working in the field of OT cybersecurity, with a specific focus on control systems, HMI, PLC and SCADA systems and supporting industrial communication protocols.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Experience in measurement systems is a preference.
• Experience with or more of the following: IEC 62443/ISA 99, ISO 27001 is a must. CCNA certification is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate with multi-functional teams, site personnel, and external customers.
