Job Description

We're entering into a new era of security at Valeo Foods Group. Until now, each Valeo Company has managed IT security independently. But times are changing.

Enter the Group Information Security Department. Our goal? To elevate security standards across all Valeo companies in the face of rising cyber threats.

As our Security Architect, you'll play a pivotal role in designing and implementing robust IT security architecture for our expanding business. Reporting to the Valeo Foods Group Head of Information Security, you'll provide essential security expertise and governance for all Valeo Group Companies.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Staying informed about emerging security threats and ensuring our systems are fortified against them.
• Evaluating and recommending cutting-edge security solutions to safeguard our operations.
• Managing the deployment of security solutions across all Valeo Companies.
• Offering security guidance for potential company acquisitions.
• Developing comprehensive security standards, policies, and procedures.
• Establishing and enforcing IT infrastructure architecture standards.
• Leading incident response and post-mortem exercises.
• Collaborating with IT and business teams to execute our security strategy effectively.
• Providing security governance reporting to the Board as required.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years’ experience in cybersecurity, including compliance and risk management with a background in system and network security engineering.
• A proven deep background (preferred 5+ years in addition to cybersecurity) in technology design, implementation and delivery.
• Experience in cloud computing technologies, including software-, infrastructure and platform-as-a-service, as well as public, private and hybrid environments.
• Experience in Vulnerability Management
• Extensive knowledge of traditional security controls and technologies, such as Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), public key infrastructure (PKI), vulnerability management solutions, identity and access management (IAM) systems, antivirus and firewalls, in addition to newer offerings such as endpoint/network detection and response (EDR)/ (NDR), threat intelligence platforms, security automation and orchestration, deception technologies and application controls.
• Excellence in communicating business risk from cybersecurity issues.
• Experience driving measurable improvement in monitoring and response capabilities at scale.

Additional Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with one or more of the following: ISO 27001, NIST, Centre for Internet Security (CIS) standards or Service Organization Controls (SOC) 2.
• Working knowledge of Windows, Linux, switch technology.
• Ability to think strategically and tactically, with effective decision-making skills.
• Experience with purple teaming (red and blue) to train, identify and remediate issues cohesively.

Certification Requirements

• CISSP (required);
• CISM , CRISC, SANS certification advantageous
• CCNA advantageous
