About Your Role: 
The Security Operations Manager will lead all security operations activity at Sendoso. You will be responsible for vulnerability management, incident response, and managing the security tech stack deployed at the company. You will manage Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs) to enhance internal capabilities and accomplish operational security. 
Who You Are: 
You are a seasoned Security Operations professional with a passion for building teams and processes around security. You have experience working and managing relationships with Managed Security Service Providers to enhance the security capabilities of a company. You have past hands-on experience in Vulnerability Management and Security Incident Response in previous roles. You have experience working in AWS environments. 

Your Typical Day:

• Build and lead the Sendoso security operations team with a focus on identifying, containing, and remediating threats. 
• Work with Managed Security Service Providers and internal resources to establish and execute security operations processes around incident detection and response, vulnerability management, configuration management, and access control. 
• Create, maintain, and report on internal and external metric relating to security operation activities.
• Support internal and external audit reviews in coordination with Governance, Risk and Compliance team.
• Proactive identification of operational, technical, or process improvements.
• Oversee employees, vendors, consultants, and Third-Party Service Providers to ensure that baseline information security configurations are defined for products deployed across Sendoso technology platforms.

Experience:

• B.S. degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related technical degree (or a minimum 5 years of security experience in Security Operations)
• Experience working in or with a Security Operations Center (SOC)
• Understanding how to manage and create security KPI’s and SLA’s.
• Well-versed in securing, monitoring and incident response in AWS environments. 
• Hands-on experience with security technologies for protecting SaaS and AWS deployments. (Cloud Workloads, Containers, Kubernetes, etc) 
• Experience in running a vulnerability management program
• Strong process and team development skills
• A high level of communication and interpersonal skills

• GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH)
• GIAC Enterprise Vulnerability Assessor (GEVA)
