Responsibilities

This is what you'll get to do: 

• Analyze, map, protect, or discover vulnerabilities, intrusions, and threats in various computer network systems.
• Conduct computer and/or network security, target development, and understands all aspects of computer/network security to include firewall administration, encryption technologies, and network protocols.
• Report events or incidents that occur to mitigate immediate and potential network and host threats.
• Support exploration and emerging technologies by arranging demonstrations, providing technical evaluations, and input to the customer’s roadmap development
• Operate cyber range and IT lab testing environments
• Work with the security team to perform hardening of network devices based on Nessus scans
• Develop concept papers, technical white papers, and related documentation detailing cyber security practices for implementation throughout DOD
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to facilitate cyber SA and information sharing

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD (Degree in Cyber Security related)
• Minimum 8 years of systems engineering, cyber security, or network engineering experience.
• Active TS/SCI Poly security clearance

Target Salary Range

$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
