Description

Cyber Network Engineers ensure network related services are functioning normally, troubleshoot issues, and implement relevant upgrades. Their core responsibility is to ensure that network security services, software, etc. are running effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Gain in-depth knowledge of SGI offered Network Security software suites.
  • Perform in-depth analysis and diagnosis for network products & applications.
  • Assist and train partners on the procedures for implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Network Security products & services.
  • Respond to customers experiencing technical issues via the ticketing system or phone in a timely, courteous, and professional manner.
  • Work closely with team members and vendor support teams to deliver solutions to complex technical issues, while also delivering high-level support to customers
  • Diagnose, research, reproduce and log reported defects working with Network Security vendor’s engineering departments.
  • Assist in the development of training materials to empower support personnel; acts as team mentor as needed.
  • Document technical resolutions to increase the Network Security product & services support knowledge base as needed.
  • Stay up to date on the latest Network Security products and services, industry best practices, and customer needs; attend applicable training, conferences, and learn new tools as needed.

Experience:

  • 1 to 3 years of related experience.  Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Compensation varies based on location and work being performed. The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position is generally within the range of $63,162 – $97,173 for annual base salary. Employees may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses and commissions. The successful candidate’s actual pay will also be based on qualifications and experience, so the actual starting pay may be above or below this range.
