Risk Security Engineer

Telespazio Belgium can count on almost 40 years of experience in the field of Space Operations Service & Engineering activities. We provide a significant contribution to the most major Space programs of the European Space Agency. Our core business is to work on the ground to build bridges into space, contributing to the success of ambitious missions.

Currently, we are looking for highly enthusiastic Risk Security Engineer who will work in the Czech Republic, in Prague.

What is expected from you:

• Support the identification and evaluation of threats, together with the evaluation and mitigation of risks.
• Carry out security risk assessment and treatment plants to mitigate identified risk in compliance with regulations, international standards, and sector best practices.
• Support the review of the documentation and results related to the execution of security audit test campaigns.
• Analyse the security impact of any modification in the operational conditions, including both operations and infrastructure changes, and ensure that any vulnerabilities identified are properly traced in the risk analysis and risk register.
• Follow up and document the status of implementation of the approved risk treatment plans based on inputs from the affected stakeholder and update the Security Risk data base (Risk Registers and Treatment Plans).
• Work in an international team and in cooperation with security experts.

What you offer:

• Master’s degree in telecommunications, cybersecurity, aerospace or other related engineering and science disciplines.
• Knowledge and experience in systems operations, EU Space Program project experience is an asset (e.g., Galileo, EGNOS, Copernicus).
• Experience in cybersecurity activities and security risk assessment methodologies is a must.
• Eligible for security clearance from their national security administration.
• Proficient in English, speaking other European languages is an asset.
