Job Type: Information Security Co-op (8 months till end of January 2025)

Starting Salary Range: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

What’s the job?

Work with Coast Capital Savings’ Information Security team on various initiatives.

What you’ll get to do:

• Assist with building security awareness content and materials.
• Assist with building detailed processes for the security governance, risk, and Compliance (GRC). 
• Assist with creating an inventory and updating all security policies, standards, and processes.
• Assist with security risk assessments. 

Who are we looking for?

• Students in 3rd or 4th year studying Cyber Security or Computer Science.
• Student with previous co-op experience is preferred.     
• Web development, basic database design and SQL experience is an asset.
• Strong analytical skills and an ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
