Job Summary
Experienced CISO (Chief Information Security Officer) responsible for maintaining the security of information technology and computer systems for our global organization. The CISO will develop and drive a cyber security strategy and framework that is intended to secure our organization’s technology assets, applications, and systems, while enabling and advancing business outcomes.
The CISO will be responsible for implementing an information security program designed to protect enterprise communications, systems, and assets from any potential threats. This role has scope over the operational day-to-day strategy used to secure both company and client, applications, and infrastructure. This role also has responsibility for building strategic initiatives to continually enhance our company’s information security posture.
This position collaborates closely with multiple departments to manage inherent risks and reduce vulnerabilities in software, systems, architecture, procedures, and practices. We need a candidate with strong technical skills, risk management experience, as well as a critical, action-oriented leader who is at ease with cross-functional collaboration.

Role Reports into: Chief Technology & Production Officer
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the ongoing development and implementation of company wide information and cybersecurity policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures to ensure information security capabilities cover current threat capabilities.
- Create and direct a risk management program through planning, developing, coordinating, and implementing information technology, disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
- Develop and implement policies for encryption of data transmissions and maintain firewalls to conceal information as it is being transmitted.
- Oversee the implementation of computer system security plans with internal personnel and outside vendors.
- Create, communicate, and implement a process to manage vendor risk, including assessment and remediation efforts to address risks that may result from partners, consultants, and other service providers.
- Develop clear and effective communication strategies with internal and external security teams.
- Collaborate and build positive relationships, embrace innovative ideas, and motivate a high-performing team.
- Provide leadership and direction where highly complex concepts need to be conveyed and implemented across the organization.
- Collaborate with the Executive Office on security operations and provide regular reporting on the status of Information Security.
- Oversee multiple projects and their requirements, while prioritizing critical needs.
- Assure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Effectively manage an information security budget and monitor for variances.
Additional Requirements: Job Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security..
- 10+ years of experience in information security, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Experience implementing and managing security systems, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs.
- Experience managing security audits and assessments.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks, such as SOC 2, ISO 27001 and NIST.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate security and risk-related concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences.
