What you'll be doing

As a Sr. Analyst, Information Security, you will support the execution of our team's mandate by effectively analyzing and resolving complex identity & access authentication requests. Your technical expertise in development and support of all privileged access management activities, processes, procedures and tools will be key in validating and insuring the integrity of information security at CIBC.

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote 

How you’ll succeed

  • Perform gap analysis of existing procedures, examine and interpret documentation, architecture diagrams, and verbal information to assess risks related to privileged access management. As a SME, assess and correct privileged access management requests, ensure the appropriate controls are followed and enforced during provisioning and de-provisioning activities, and provision IDs correctly while minimizing impact and risk exposure to the business. Assist in the development of and execution of regular and ad-hoc reporting and communications to support IAM initiatives

  • Deliver projects through collaboration with other technology or business partners to create and execute privileged access management for new/existing infrastructure, aligning with Identity & Access Management (IAM) initiatives and related policies, standards, and procedures to help enhance our information security posture.  Assist other teams in investigation of potential security incidents and provide recommendations to remediate. Recommend solutions to enhance processes, eliminate risks, and improve the speed and quality of key services to our partners.

  • Work closely with internal and external partners to ensure that information security best practices are understood and applied. Update and maintain knowledge repositories to support internal partners where applicable

Prior to starting in this role, security checks, including a criminal record check must be successfully completed to the satisfaction of CIBC. An annual criminal record check may also be required
