Info Sec Business Partner – Intelligence

Role description:

Oversees all information security activities within GBA Intelligence, and ensures the risk stays within Risk Appetite. Is a Trusted Advisor for GBA Intelligence.  This role is a Global role, scope/location, position can be filled in any location where Arcadis has a legal entity.

Reports to Information Security Director (deputy-GISO); Indirect Reports (Dotted line):  Information Security Specialists indirectly report to InfoSec Business Partner (BISO) for Intelligence.

Business Partner

• Collaborate with all senior stakeholders within GBA Intelligence.
• Show continuous engagement in activities and projects.
• Act as a trusted advisor for all within GBA Intelligence.
• Build lasting relationships and promote Infosec principles and strategies.
• Be an enabler of business objectives in alignment with InfoSec strategies.

Risk Management

• Coordinate and execute security risk assessments and any follow-up activities.
• Develop a network of colleagues (developers, digital solution towers) to always be involved and notified of new applications or solution developments.
• Ensure timely escalation of high risks when needed.
• Design, own, and improve risk assessments and processes in line with business objectives and InfoSec strategy.
• Promote Secure by Design and Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) principles.

• Show understanding or experience with developing digital solutions (Applications, web services, databases, SDLC, Cloud computing)

 Key Shared Accountabilities: 

• Guide and train the Information Security Specialists together with the other 3 InfoSec business partners.
• Build and maintain the Information Security Risk Landscape together with the other three InfoSec business partners.
• Share relevant information with other business partners and team members.
• Drive continuous information security posture improvement within GBA Intelligence.

Qualifications & Experience: 

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent
• Minimum of 8 years experience in security risk management within a multinational engineering, professional services, or similar global firm.
  • Driving innovation: Experience in generating and driving innovation, engaging with peers on new processes and solutions and working with alliances and ecosystems to deliver the best outcomes.
  • Managing change: Managing and leading change into other services or products, operating with new business models, turning around underperforming programs, and driving standardization and automation.
  • Data and technology: Adopting data-driven decision-making, leveraging data to create and demonstrate value. Tech savvy, comfortable, and curious about technologies.
• Demonstrates strong project management skills, takes ownership, and achieves results; drives improvement.
• Establishes good relations while staying critical; can deal with resistance and escalates timely.
