This is a Summer Intern Position from 03 June 2024 until 09 August 2024.

 

Noblis is looking for interns for our 2024 Summer Internship Program!

Our 2024 Program will be held in a hybrid work environment; participants must be in the local area to travel to an in-person facility for certain projects, meetings, and collaborative assignments. Noblis is offering internship opportunities in our Intelligence and Law Enforcement Mission Area.

Responsible for developing and applying basic skills in areas of specialization with clear direction from your supervisor. Responsibilities and individual tasks are generally fundamental, routine in nature, and require minimal problem solving. Ask clarifying questions, refer more complex issues to higher levels and follow direction and guidance from others. Begin to understand how to apply strengths, know when to ask for help and know how you contribute to corporate success. With a service excellence mindset, begin to build a relationship with your manager, the organization you support, and internal/external business contacts. Follow Noblis’ policies and procedures. Ensure that all work products follow Noblis’ policies and procedures and operate at a level of quality that positively affects the Noblis brand.

Project Description

    • Securing systems using cybersecurity policies and techniques.  
    • Working on indevidual and group projects to research and develop unique solutions for I&LE clients.
    • Gain hands on experience working in an agile and cross functional team environment 

Required Qualifications

  • A GPA of 3.3 or higher  
  • U.S. Citizenship, and the ability to obtain and maintain a clearance
  • Current Sophomore, Junior or Senior with studies in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related fields of study.Required:
  • Experience with cybersecurity principles
  • Experience with computer or network security coursework
  • Knowledge of engineering, programming, and software testing principles
  • Knowledge of techniques used in kill chain analysis

Desired Qualifications

  • Any experience with disassembly tools, exploits, shellcode, or code to bypass typical security measures.
  • Any hands-on experience with reverse engineering tools such as IDA, Ghidra, or BinaryNinja.
  • Any experience with assembly languages such as x86/64, ARM, PPC, Mips, etc.
  • Interest in using static and dynamic tools and techniques to analyze and reverse-engineer malware
  • Knowledge of machine learning frameworks and models such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, GPT, CNNs, and generative models
  • Experience with Python and software engineering best practices
  • Experience with one or more of Imitation Learning, Reinforcement Learning (offline/off-policy), modern Neural Network architectures (e.g., GPT, Diffusion, Generative models), or related techniques
  • Knowledge of deep learning: layer details, loss functions, optimization, etc.
  • Knowledge of sparse training techniques, neural network pruning, and generative modeling
  • Knowledge of training large models on distributed computing
  • Ability to work on complex problems and produce significant research and/or experience deploying production ML models at scale
  • Interest in innovations and executions in deep learning.

Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package for employees.

 

Posted Salary Range

USD $22.00 - USD $36.00 /Hr.
