The Expertise We’re Looking For

 

10+ years experience in security architecture including the following:

  • Proven track record as a Security Architect or Technical Lead, crafting new solutions and delivering business outcomes in a large enterprise environment
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in Cloud Security 
  • Expertise in on-premise and cloud networking including secure protocols, routing, ingress and egress rules
  • Demonstrated  experience architecting solutions in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms
  • Windows and Linux administration experience
  • Familiarity with DevOps concepts
  • Secure cloud deployment experience
  • Experienced in cloud automation and orchestration including monitoring, compliance checks, and security checks
  • Strong understanding of cloud Identity and Access Management principles
  • Experience with cloud automation and container tool sets and methodologies including but not limited to: Chef, Puppet, Jenkins, Ansible, SaltStack, Kubernetes, and Docker
  • Well versed in cloud API and serverless deployments
  • Experience creating security architectures for global enterprises, global applications, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Experience with CNAPP/CSPM, CIAM, and cloud native and cloud specific security tools.  E.g. Wiz, Orca, Prisma
  • Familiarity with security control frameworks such as the CIS Critical Security Controls, ISO 27001, NIST 800-171, and NIST 800-53
  • Demonstrated experience of delivering security process change
  • Desire/ability to learn and implement new technologies
  • Experience with Agile development methodology
  • Experience in all aspects of Architecture Design
  • Proficiency in the following security domains:  Information Security, Identity and Access Management, Incident Response, Application Security, Monitoring, Compliance, Risk/3rd Party Risk, and Physical Security
  • Prefer certifications such as CISSP , TOGAF, Zachman, and cloud vendor certifications.
  • Nice to have experience in data security, global ERP systems, and international regulations.



The Purpose of Your Role

  • Partner with peers, business leaders, product managers and the broader digital technology community, to architect for today, to re-imagine the future and to bridge from today to that future.
  • Create and Articulate future state architecture via a Narrative document, complemented by a detailed Strategy, which contains all of the relevant Architecture & Design artifacts enabling the business strategy and delivering value our customers will recognize.
  • Additionally, it is expected that the proposed Future State Architecture has been validated with proofs-of-concepts / MVPs.
  • A detailed Cloud Security Execution Plan developed & reviewed with respect to digital enterprise systems regarding the evolution from the Current to Future State architectures.
  • Collaborate with all other Security Architects and peers in solution and technical architecture, with respect to the refinement & evolution of the Security Architecture Processes & Practices, focused around the Zachman framework
  • Continuous "outside-in" scanning, so as to facilitate continuous learning, hands-on understanding, and adoption of Security Architecture industry standard methodologies & techniques.
  • Capture customer use cases and security requirements.  Research vendors and technologies to meet those requirements, and score solutions to determine the optimal system outcome.
  • Assess and characterize security risk for currently implemented systems and systems to be built.  Recommend security risk mitigations and set the risk appetite level for the enterprise.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and regulations affecting your business partners.  Write and influence enterprise security policy.
  • Perform system data categorization and apply security control frameworks corresponding to the level of data sensitivity

Basic Qualifications and other notables

  • Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline
  • Will be a matrixed reporting role with both a local manager and team/manager in the U.S.
  • Expected to attend and collaborate with U.S. based team members during part of the U.S. work hours
