As the Cyber Technical Associate Director for the Accenture Federal Services (AFS) Cyber Capability, you will be responsible for driving innovation, managing emerging technologies, and overseeing internal assets critical to the company's success. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the technological direction of the organization, ensuring it remains at the forefront of the cybersecurity landscape.
The Work:
- Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic guidance and leadership in the evaluation, adoption, and implementation of emerging technologies relevant to cybersecurity, such as AI, machine learning, supply chain security, and quantum computing.
- Technology Evaluation and Integration: Assess the viability and potential impact of emerging technologies on Federal clients’ products, services, and internal operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new products and solutions to incorporate emerging technologies into offerings and processes.
- Research and Development: Lead R&D initiatives to explore innovative solutions, tools, and methodologies to enhance the clients’ cybersecurity capabilities. Stay abreast of industry trends, threat landscapes, and technological advancements to inform decision-making.
- Asset Management: Oversee the management and optimization of internal assets—ensuring the security, scalability, and efficiency of assets to support client business operations.
- Team Development: Build and mentor a high-performing team of technologists, engineers, and researchers. Provide guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with executive leadership, product managers, sales teams, and external partners to align technological initiatives with business objectives. Effectively communicate technical concepts and recommendations to diverse stakeholders.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to cybersecurity and data privacy. Develop and implement robust risk management strategies to mitigate potential threats and vulnerabilities.
Here's What You Need:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Proven experience (8+ years) in cybersecurity, with a focus on emerging technologies and/or strategic leadership roles.
- Strong technical expertise in areas such as AI, machine learning, cryptography, network security, and/or cloud computing.
- Leading successful R&D initiatives, technology evaluations, and/or integration projects/teams
Bonus Points If:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Advanced certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) preferred
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
- Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and the ability to navigate complex business challenges.
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity regulations, compliance frameworks, and risk management principles
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
